Beyond the Water

by Tanya

Beyond the Water Sometimes an ocean can fit inside a single glass. Sometimes an entire universe can exist within a drop of water. This artwork explores the idea that reality is far larger and deeper than what we perceive. The transparent glass becomes a fragile boundary between worlds, while the water inside transforms into an endless ocean containing its own horizons, tides, and mysteries. Emerging from the waves, a gaze meets the viewer's eyes, inviting a moment of connection between two dimensions. The piece reflects on scale and perception: what appears small and ordinary may hold unimaginable vastness. A single drop can become a world, a glass can become an ocean, and a reflection can become a doorway. The water serves both as a barrier and a bridge, separating the known from the unknown while quietly linking them together. "Beyond the Water" is an invitation to look closer and imagine what may exist beneath the surface of even the simplest things. Somewhere between reality and imagination, between observer and observed, another world is waiting to be discovered.
