Natural Occurrence

“A nightingale does not need a golden cage, it needs a green branch”. This folk proverb is a metaphor that vividly expresses the deep idea of freedom and harmony with nature. The nightingale here symbolizes every living creature striving for a natural, free existence. The golden cage is an artificial barrier created by man that limits freedom, while the green branch is a natural environment in which a living being can be itself. My work calls for the realization that the true value of life lies not in material goods or artificial achievements, but in maintaining freedom and connection with nature. Just as a nightingale cannot be happy in a cage, a person who loses his connection to nature and is absorbed in material goods loses his true essence. This proverb reminds us of the importance of protecting the environment and preserving living ecosystems, and that man and nature must exist in harmony. Medium: oil on canvas.
